Instructions for Worldspan Go! Users

Important: If your version of Worldspan Go! allows you to use custom scripts (common in a multi-agent office), you would be better-served to choose 'WorldSpan' (instead of 'WorldSpan Go!) as your CRS on the 'Preferences' tab of iMagic's Options panel and consult the instructions for WorldSpan users (except for the custom script supplied with iMagic; to have the script available in your WorldSpan Go! environment, please contact MagnaTech at 888-393-3602).
If, however, your version of WorldSpan Go! does not allow for the use of custom scripts (common with the single-user access to WorldSpan Go! via the internet), you can follow the instructions outlined on this page. If you are unsure, you can contact MagnaTech and we'll try to help you determine which version of WorldSpan Go! you are using.

Creating a Message

iMagic's EyeSpy technology interacts with Worldspan's "My Trip and More" website to scan and copy itinerary information into its own iMagic message screen. The steps are outlined below.

Displaying the itinerary in My Trip and More:

On the My Trip and More website's main page, enter the passenger's last name and the Worldspan Trip Locator number for that person and click 'View Travel Plans'. This will bring up that person's Travel Plans. This is where iMagic and EyeSpy take over.

Capturing the information for iMagic:

If you hold a right-click on the 'I' of the iMagic bullet's compact version (as pictured) or the 'New' button of the full version and begin dragging, the 'Red Eye' (as seen above) will replace your mouse's normal pointer. If you drag it to the window containing the displayed Travel Plans, it will become the Green Eye (1, above). Release the right-click and EyeSpy will capture only the necessary information on the page and open up an iMagic Message screen with the information in it.

From this point, you can send the message using the 'iMagic Message' screen's many options.

iMagic is not limited to sending just this type of information if you are a Worldspan Go user. Please take note that anything that can be copied to the clipboard can be placed into the Message screen by default when it opens or by using the Message screen's 'Append' feature.
