New capability streamlines Electronic Miscellaneous Document management, improves visibility, and enhances operational efficiency for Sabre-connected travel management companies.
Magnatech® Travel Management Solutions today announced the launch of automated Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) tracking for Sabre-based travel management company (TMC) clients using OnTrackplus®.
Now available as part of the OnTrackplus offering, the new capability is designed to provide greater visibility, automation, and control over unused EMDs and related reconciliation workflows.
OnTrackplus is Magnatech’s automated unused ticket and travel credit tracking solution, used by agencies globally to help improve visibility, accuracy, and control across the travel credit lifecycle. With the addition of automated Standalone and Associated EMD tracking, OnTrackplus now further supports TMCs as they manage increasingly complex airline content, ancillary services, and servicing requirements.
The launch comes as travel organizations continue to manage growing volumes of ancillary transactions, driven in part by increasing demand for New Distribution Capability (NDC) content. As more airline products, services, and fare options are distributed through new channels, the ability to track EMD activity accurately and efficiently is becoming increasingly important for TMCs and their clients.
The new EMD tracking capability enables travel organizations to monitor ancillary travel transactions more efficiently, reduce manual intervention, and improve the accuracy of EMD-related reporting and servicing.
